Dedicated application servers are used for communicating. transtec CALLEO Servers from the 322 series are used as database and application servers. Firewall and proxy functionality is delivered by CALLEO 321 Servers. The database itself is shared over two PROVIGO 660 RAID systems each connected to the Oracleassisted database server with two fibre-channel connections.
