ENERGY STAR® 4.0 certified

The current ENERGY STAR® 4.0 provides the most stringent guidelines in terms of efficiency and environmentally friendliness for electronic appliances.
To conform with ENERGY STAR® 4.0, systems may not consume more than 65 W power  

• in idle mode and
• must convert 80 % of the incoming energy into electricity (and not into heat).

More energy efficiency with 80 plus power supply

High quality with efficiency
Power supplies are critical components in terms of their energy efficiency. Not only because cheaper power supplies generate a lot of noise but they waste on power. In the new Energy Star guideline version 4.0, efficient 80 Plus power supplies are promoted:

• With 20, 50 and 100 percent electrical load, the qualifying computer's power supply has to have 80% efficiency.
This means that 80 % of the incoming energy must be converted into electricity (and not into heat).
• Power factor more than 0.9 with 100% system load is stipulated.
• The technical measurements are checked by the 80plus.org.

The benefits:

• Improved performance: Quality not quantity.
• The power supply generates less waste energy with the same efficiency. For the user, this results in consistently lower electricity costs.
• Less heat development in power supply. This prolongs the service life of electrical components as well as the mechanical parts.

Optimised power management

transtec offers all SENYO Eco PCs in default energy-saving mode:

• The energy-saving mode is activated once the display is inactive for a maximum of 15 minutes.
• The entire system is switched to the energy-saving sleep mode after 30 minutes of inactivity.
• The speed of the Gigabit network card is reduced when the sleep mode is activated.

Constant use of these functions can reduce the power consumption by 15 to 20 percent.

The sophisticated hardware design with optimised hardware components and fans ensures extremely silent operation and thus promotes a more concentrated working environment:
